Statement
Dr. Scorzelli begins each piece with a vision in mind but allows his instincts and the paint to guide him. He believes the process of creating art should be just as fulfilling as the finished piece. Dr. Scorzelli says "You can not be a control freak and work in watercolor, it is not a medium that is always controllable and that is what I love and sometime hate about it.... It is this free form uncertainty that can lead to a wondrous masterpiece or a tragic disaster. It is a perfect medium for a risk taker like myself."
Biography
Dr. Scorzelli is a self-taught artist with a passion for creating bright colored images that are often described as whimsical and fun. His love for art began as a boy and has evolved through his many different life experiences. His career path has taken him through science, art, medicine, engineering, medical device development and back to art.
